Taking action.
What do we give to sustain a kind world?
What do we put out there?
What world do you want to be part of?
I cannot help but take notice of everything that is going on (obviously) and it has taken my usual jovial bravado and has dragged me through states of sadness, anger, fear and complete exhaustion. And I realize through all of this whiplash, that that is EXACTLY how this all works.
To tire your audience out so perfectly that they become too weakened to do anything about it. We have been here before. We have been privy to atrocities before and will again. It is in moments like this that we shoot up our mental shields and step back. Assess, blink, process and realize the circus before us.
Change, absolute change, comes from the single individual that all of us are. We want to see change but where does it start? What do we as the individual contribute to this? Do we cause chaos? Do we become reactionary? Do we become revolutionary? Do we become complacent?
This is a moment in time where one thing is for sure: who gives a fuck about mindless nothing feuds from fairweather people when the whole world is on fire.
Witches, take your works to your altars. Craft your sigils, do your spellwork, freeze your presidents and hex the fuck out of the system. This is that moment in time, in history where you want to be standing on the right side of it. Protect your friends who are being targeted, amplify what is being suffocated and burn the fascist state to the ground. You don't need to go to a protest to protest and you can find a multitude of ways to advocate for human rights.
But it starts with what we do as the single individual in this world. Make your magic count.
