Necropolis, City of the Dead.

Unlike the cemeteries of today, that are located often outside of the city or at the very least not within the city centre - The Necropolis was the central focal point within the city walls as it was a most elaborate burial ground of an ancient city - Much like the Pyramid at Giza.

An intentional Liminal portal, fumigated with funerary herbs and care.

A waterfall of duality in energy and force.

To where honour is held - both in life and death.

A core so integral to the infrastructure of the Underworld and our own.

The dead watch over us as we are called to share in offerings and ritual. Fashioning the Lords who watch over them with honour and payment for their ancient duties and sacred rites.
