It is no secret that life is a hurdle-induced fever dream. Regardless of how long it takes us to realize this, it never stops.

And it also reduces us to these fragile core components, trying to grasp onto reality... whatever type of reality that is "normal" to us.

We are in a state of constant start and stop. A Simon Says game of progressing in increments hoping to not fail when we don't take direction correctly. And the analogy and belief in the Crossroads offers a much more well rounded understanding of these pit stops.

And like a vine before a tall brick wall, we slowly make the trek to the top. Through the elements and other entities, we fight tooth and nail to get to that place of absolution.
